1. Which color catches your eye?

Choose the color family you would most like to notice across the fish.

2. What kind of pattern do you like?

This is one of the easiest ways to separate very different guppy strains.

3. Which fin feature sounds best?

Some strains are all about the tail, while others stand out because of another fin trait.

4. Pick the overall vibe.

Think about the first impression you want the fish to make in the aquarium.

How the matcher works

Your result is based on visible traits—not a fake personality test.

The finder compares the choices you make with the defining appearance of the guppy strains currently covered on the site.

Color

Moscow strains tend to emphasize broad body color, while Koi and patterned strains may place color in very different areas.

Pattern

Leopard uses larger spots, Grass uses fine speckles, Mosaic uses irregular patches, and Cobra uses snakeskin-like markings.

Fin feature

Dumbo Ear is unusual because the oversized pectoral fins matter as much as the tail. Other fancy strains are selected mainly for caudal and dorsal appearance.
